If you're departing from the pier at San Basilio, which handles small- to medium-size ships, you can take Alilaguna's Blue Line to Zattere, which is a short, level walk (with two one small bridges) from the San Basilio cruise terminal. Because Alilaguna's schedules change from time to time, we suggest double-checking the Alilaguna timetable at www.alilaguna.it immediately before your trip.
Water taxis
For more information, read our Venice Water Taxis article. Finding the boat piers at the airportAlilaguna water buses and water taxis leave from piers on the Venetian Lagoon.
