The
Locanda Antico Fiore has only six rooms in its 18th Century house (plus a
two-bedroom apartment in a separate building), but that's part of its charm: The
Antico Fiore is more of a B&B or inn than a hotel, with plenty of authentic
Venetian atmosphere along with modern conveniences such as air conditioning and
free Wi-Fi.
How to reach the Locanda Antico Fiore from the
Sant'Angelo airport-boat stop (Alilaguna Linea Arancio):
As you leave the
Alilaguna and ACTV waterbus
pier, bear right and walk
inland on the street ahead of you.
Within a few meters, the street will
widen into a square, the Corte dell'Albero.
Look for a street ahead of you, across the square. Continue
on this short street to a canal.
At the canal, turn right and walk along
the canal to the next corner and bridge.
At the bridge, turn right and go down the
steps into a small square, the Corte Lucatello. The Locanda Antico Fiore is on
the left side of the square. (Look
for potted trees and a brass plate by the door.)
