Salute

Salute is a single-platform vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal. It's next to the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, which is one of Venice's largest churches. (Admission is free, and the church is definitely worth a visit.)

The station is served only by:

ACTV Line 1 public water buses

Salute ACTV vaporetto stop

Hotels near the Salute ACTV stop include the Centurion Palace (five stars), Messner Palace (four stars), Messner (three stars), and Ca' Zose (B&B).

Note: Salute does not have a ticket booth or vending machine, so here's what to do if you need to board a water bus without a valid ACTV ticket or Tourist Travel Card.
